#WorldSepsisDay
What will you do to raise awareness for sepsis?
World Sepsis Day is an initiative from the Global Sepsis Alliance and its founding members, the World Federation of Societies of Intensive and Critical Care Medicine (WFSICCM), the World Federation of Intensive and Critical Care Societies (WFPICCS), the World Federation of Critical Care Nurses (WFCCN), the International Sepsis Forum (ISF) and the Sepsis Alliance (SA).
The message is simple: sepsis must receive the utmost priority as a medical emergency, so that all patients can expect to receive basic interventions, including antibiotics and intravenous fluids, within the first hour.
