The annual general meeting of the members is held at the end of October annually. Any CACCN member may attend, however only Active Members have voting rights. Information for the meeting is provided at minimum twenty-one days prior to the meeting in accordance with the General Operating Bylaw # 2. Meetings are held via the Zoom platform. Members must register in advance to receive the meeting link.

CACCN is seeking an interested Association member to serve as a volunteer Board Member on the National Board of Directors for a two-year term from May 1, 2027, to April 30, 2029.

- Eligibility Criteria: Active member of CACCN, holding a registered nursing license, and currently working in critical care.

- Nomination Form: Each Nominee and Nominator must be a registered nurse, possessing a valid registered nursing license who is no less than 18 years of age and who must meet the criteria for an active/current member of the Association. Voting Process
- Acclamation: Should there be one (1) position available and one (1) nominee for the position – the member will be acclaimed provided they meet the nomination criteria.
- Election: Should there be one (1) position available and more than one (1) nominee for the position – an online election will be held, provided the nominees meet the nomination criteria.
- Following the close of nominations and verification that the nominees meet the nomination criteria, members will receive an email from Simply Voting with a link to the election site.
- The Simply Voting election process is secure and confidential.
- Access to the voting system is not available to the current CACCN Board of Directors or the National Office.
- Following the close of voting, a certified election result report is provided by to the CACCN National Office. This report contains the results of the election and does not provide information on specific voters and votes cast.

Only completed applications received from the eligible region (Central) by October 1, 2026 will be considered.

- Review the annual report and financial statements for the May 2025 to April 2026 fiscal year (reports will be released a minimum of 21 days prior to the meeting).
- Share the results of the Call for Board of Director Nominations.
- Hold an open forum.
- Present a webinar following the AGM (tentative).
