Who is eligible for nomination?
ominees must be an active current member in accordance with the CACCN criteria: Individuals holding a registered nursing license currently working in critical care in Canada, may vote, may serve on committees and may hold a National Board position. Nominees must be nominated by an active current member meeting the above criteria.

Nominators must also be an active current member in accordance with the CACCN criteria: Individuals holding a registered nursing license currently working in critical care, may vote, may serve on committees and may hold a National Board position.
Available Board positions
- Eastern Region: Two (2) Directors (NB, NL, NS, NU, PE, QC)
- Western Region: One (1) Director (AB, BC, NT, SK, YU)
- Director @ Large: One (1) Director (Any region: AB, BC, MB, NB, NL, NT, NU, NS, ON, PE, QC, SK, YU)

- CACCN or other volunteer involvement
- Statement on why you are seeking a Board of Director position (max 100 words)
- Personal Statement – This statement is your introduction to the membership (max 500 words)

- Photo (2″ x 2″) – high resolution .jpg or .png
Acclamation / Election Policy
- Acclamation: Should there be 1 position available and 1 nominee for the position – the member will be acclaimed provided they meet the nomination criteria.
- Election: Should there be 1 position available and more than 1 nominee for the position – an online election will be held, provided the nominees meet the nomination criteria.
Voting Process
Following the close of nominations and verification that the nominees meet the nomination criteria, members will receive an email from Simply Voting with a link to the election site. The Simply Voting election process is secure and confidential. Access to the voting system is not available to the current CACCN Board of Directors or the National Office. Following the close of voting, a certified election result report is provided by to the CACCN National Office. This report contains the results of the election and does not provide information on specific voters and votes cast.
