- Patient monitoring systems provide a wealth of parameters, waves and values. However, the complex ICU environment can make it difficult for care teams to easily identify and process the information they need to make quick, accurate decisions. Now, Philips IntelliVue Patient Monitors can translate numerical vital signs into an avatar using colour, shape and animation to help improve situation awareness and clinical decision making. Join us to learn more about this new feature available for the ICU. We will look at the development and history of the Avatar, demonstrate how it can help accelerate the recognition and processing of information, and display the various ways that the Avatar can complement numerics and waveforms with its unique visual cues.
